Clean As A Whistle

One of the most frequently cited regulations in the workplace centers on chemicals in our places of employment.  The Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) is now aligned with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) with 4 effective dates for compliance phased in over a 4 year period.  December 2013 provisions include employees are trained on label element and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) format.  Check with your Safety or Engineering department to see if your workplace is compliant.
