I know you know the rest of the words to that song. :-) On a serious note, the summer temperatures are reaching record highs. I call this desert weather. I lived in the southwest desert one summer and the heat is serious. You can become dehydrated in a matter of minutes.
So this is what my sister and the CDC taught me about surviving desert weather.

1. carry a bottle of water with you at all times. drink a lot of water - 8 cups are the usual, double that in the desert weather-also add a little sea salt himalayan pink and lemon to restore electrolytes; 2. wear sunglasses to keep your eyes from drying out; 3. carry an umbrella to provide shade; 4. run errands early morning and late afternoon when its cooler
