That Was Intense

We all experience the impacts of trauma whether we are aware or it is unacknowledged.  When it manifests in ways that hinder our momentum or growth, we must learn to sit with those feelings.  In order to adequately heal, we must learn to properly comfort ourselves in ways that correct the neglect.  Numbing or ignoring the injury only delays the inevitable.  Let the emotions freely flow through you and listen for the lessons.

See and Heal

Emotional and spiritual healing happens when the brain replaces painful memories and images of loss, injury or damage with restorative images of safety, growth and well-being thereby restoring the healthy functioning of the mind.

Restorative images are drawn from the imagination of our sensory experience that is exciting, stunning, soothing or peaceful. These images remind us of what we have gained and strengthens our ability to improve and grow.
